Premium Vs Standard Paper Straw Test

All paper straws are created equal, right? Well here at Advanced Disposables we thought that we would put this idea to the test.

Take a look at our video below where we have pitted a standard 2 ply straw against a premium 3 ply straw to see if that extra ply really makes a difference.

We rested both straws in water for approximately 2 hours. Occasionally stirring each one to mimic the drinking process. The results showed us that the 2ply straw went soft quite quickly, whereas the 3ply continued to hold strong until the end of the test. This shows that the 3ply is a much better product as it allows customers to enjoy their drink for longer, without affecting the environment.
